The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical, and social wellbeing throughout their lives.

The Charity was founded during the dark days of the Blitz to support the bereaved families of brave firefighters who laid down their lives to tackle the devastation seen across the Capital in the early 1940s.

Today the Charity has evolved to provide a broad range of digital and face to face support services, through innovative digital solutions, its three residential health and wellbeing centres and also directly to people where they live, in person, online or over the phone.

Almost entirely funded through voluntary donations, each year the Charity supports thousands of individuals and families in the UK fire services community, helping those affected by injury, illness and trauma to improve their health and wellbeing.

“I would like to thank the Gamesys Foundation and its Trustees for this generous donation. The money will go a long way to helping us provide vital digital support services to members of the fire and rescue services community facing challenges to their physical and mental wellbeing.”
