Sue Ryder helps people through the most difficult times of their lives, offering online bereavement support services and counselling.

The Gamesys Foundation was able to provide a significant contribution to support Sue Ryder’s online bereavement services. Sue Ryder has created a dedicated online community where bereaved people can connect with others, get things off their chests, and ask questions. In addition to this, the organisation is able to offer a free and confidential professional counselling service via video chat.

Preventing the deterioration of mental health at a time of stress is a key ambition for the Gamesys Foundation, particularly in light of the current global health crisis, when online resources are more relevant than ever before.

Those who are grieving and in need of support are encouraged to visit sueryder.org/support for more information on services available.

“The Gamesys Foundation will allow us to support 425 people to receive vital bereavement counselling support to start to come to terms with their grief and help a further 120,000 people connect with others so they feel less alone and isolated through the Online Community.”
